West Vancouver
4,500 sf single-family house 8,500 sf lot
Under construction Mar 2014
Material: composite panel, architectural concrete, Accoya wood cladding

The client’s desire for clear forms created a compact house that cantilevers a bedroom wing 25’ over a lower level swimming pool. An open living/dining/kitchen area effectively doubles in size, gaining a large covered outdoor area via a five panel sliding door system. The pitched roof over the living room creates a strong form on the North elevation as well as opening the back of the living room to light and high views to the mountains.
